Ganon, often referred to as Ganondorf in his human form, is the primary antagonist of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series.

Originally born Ganondorf Dragmire, he is the King of the Gerudo, a race of desert-dwelling warriors. He is driven by an insatiable hunger for power and domination over the land of Hyrule.

Ganondorf's ambitions lead him to seek the Triforce, a sacred relic embodying the virtues of Power, Wisdom, and Courage. He usually claims the Triforce of Power, granting him immense strength and dark magic abilities. These powers often transform him into a monstrous, boar-like beast known as Ganon.

Throughout the Zelda games, Ganon repeatedly kidnaps Princess Zelda and threatens Hyrule with destruction. He serves as Link's ultimate enemy, constantly challenging the hero's courage and determination to save the kingdom and restore balance.
